Wesley Stuart Lillie
March 19, 1929 – October 30, 2018
Wesley Stuart Lillie, age 89, of Kitchener, Ontario passed away on Tuesday October 30, 2018. Wes was born March 19, 1929.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wes peacefully in his sleep at Innisfree House in Kitchener in his 90th year. Loved by his wife Fran and his 4-legged friend, Casey.
Wes is loved and survived by his two children, John Lillie and Susan de Vries (Paul), four grandchildren Michael Lillie, Kristy Ranalli (Ronnie), Bradley de Vries (Denise) and Janet Bye (Fraser), three great-grandchildren Marcus, Alessia and Victoria and special friend to sister-in-law and brother-in-law Alice and John Bruckman.
Wes was the eldest of 8 children and is survived by sisters Lois Gill and Marilyn Howlett, brothers Ken and Bruce and predeceased by brothers Jeff, Brian and Allan.
Wes was a leader in both sports and business and lived life to the fullest.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Galt Country Club, 750 Coronation Blvd., Cambridge, ON N1R 8E3 on Sunday, November 4th, 2018 between 1-4pm with remarks scheduled for 2:30pm.
Cremation entrusted to Coutts Funeral Home, Cambridge, ON.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated by the family to Innisfree House, 2375 Homer Watson Blvd., Kitchener, ON N2P 0E9, where Wes received the utmost excellent care in his remaining days.
