Obituary of Wayne Bridge
Suddenly, at Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, July 06, 2018, Wayne Bridge of R.R. #1, Bluevale, age 70 years. Cherished husband of Barb Bridge. Loving father of Kim Johnston & the late Dave Johnston, Lori & Mark Lewis and Mark Bridge & Kristina Wallace. Papa wiener will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Myles, Lola and Kipp Johnston and Lyla, Spencer and Paxton Lewis. Dear brother of Quincy Bridge, Bill & Roberta Bridge, James & Kathy Bridge and Dale & Phyllis Bridge. Wayne will be missed by Barb’s family, Bernice, Robert (Janet), Ross (Joan), Ralph (Diane), Lillias (Gerry), Pat (the late Ron), Percy (Olga), Norm (Allison) and Brenda (Reg). Predeceased by his parents Wilmer & Freda Bridge, his parents-in-law George & Doris Hymers and sister-in-law Ann Hymers.
A Celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Wingham Knights of Columbus Centre with reception and visitation to follow until 3:00 pm. Final resting place, Wroxeter Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Blyth-Brussels Minor Hockey Association, Wingham Minor Soccer Association or the Listowel-Wingham Hospital Alliance (Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
