Obituary of Warren Dunfield
DUNFIELD, WARREN BRUCE
Warren was born to Jean (Nichols) and Fraser Dunfield on September 1, 1942. He passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Friday November 30, 2018. He is survived by his father Fraser, wife of 54 years Dianne (Tedford), daughter Kelley (Erin Carroll), son Craig and grandson Noah. He will be missed by nephews, nieces, brother and sister-in-laws and the many friends he had over the years: Doug Perdue and Peter since pre-school, Alan Coyne since grade school and others. Warren grew up in Peterborough, and completed his education at Ryerson in Toronto. He moved back to Peterborough to work at CGE. He was working in the nuclear division when he retired from CGE at the young age of 56. He volunteered at Brock Mission, Peterborough Theatre Guild, and later at the Good Neighbour Care Centre. Warren enjoyed skiing in his younger years and golf after retirement. He also enjoyed travelling and seeing the world. He led various Bible studies with the men at Northview Community Church. He is now resting peacefully with his Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. A funeral service will be held at Northview Community Church, Towerhill Rd. & Fairbairn St., Peterborough on Thursday December 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Braden Room of the Church. Interment to follow at Lakefield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C. Foundation or E.R.D.O., Emergency Relief & Development Overseas as expressions of sympathy.
