WANDA FRANCIS CYBULSKY
Wanda Francis Cybulsky passed away on January 28, 2018 at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre. Born February 17, 1920 to Albert and Josephine Turk in Colbalt, ON. As a young girl her family relocated to East St. Paul, MB. She was the eldest sibling of Ludy, Charlie, Helen and Bernice.
In 1937, she married John (Jack) Cybulsky of Lockport, MB. Together with Jack’s brother Bill and his wife Sophie they farmed for 45 years and raised their families. After Jack’s death in 1987 Wanda remained on the farm until 2004 when she moved to Selkirk, MB.
Wanda is survived by her sons Ken (Eleanore) and Dr. John Cybulsky (Florence); grandchildren Karla, Kendra, Koren, Tara (Loy), Joda (Chris); 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister Bernice Beer, and many nephews and nieces.
Wanda was proud to be a farmer’s wife. In later years she enjoyed her work at Eaton’s. She was an accomplished bowler, gardener, avid card player, and Blue Jays fan. She travelled and took an interest in everyone she met. Her greatest joy was her family.
Special thanks and gratitude to her friends at the Lion’s Centre, as well as Home Care and Selkirk Regional Health Centre staff who cared for Wanda during her short illness.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 5819 Henderson Hwy. in Narol, MB at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Wanda Cybulsky January 28 2018.source
