With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Walter “Wally” Waldron at the age of 91 years, on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at home with his family by his side. Google Maps Trevor (Trisha) Waldron, Jessica Waldron (Adrian), Brian (Ashley) Humphrey and Jenna Humphrey (Steve), and his great-grandchildren Kayla, Carter, Ella, Avery, Avaya, Beckett. Father-figure to Richard (Grace) McClung and family.
Wally was the owner of Economy Welding and Steel Fabricating on Gage Avenue North for many years. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 58, he volunteered his time at Sackville Senior’s Centre every Friday night for Euchre and on Sundays for Bid Euchre. He was a great listener and gave advice when asked. He always made people laugh. He was a great dancer, loved old movies and took great pride in his rose garden, and will be dearly missed by all.
Cremation has taken place with a private family interment service at Waterdown Union Cemetery. Friends are invited to gather with the family for a Celebration of Walter’s Life at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 12-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Walter to The Climb for Cancer Charity, benefitting the Juravinski Cancer Centre, would be appreciated by the family.
