Waldon L Coldwell 19322018

Waldon L. Coldwell
1932-2018
Waldon Lee Coldwell – lifelong resident of Gaspereau passed
away at home at the age of 85. He was the son of the late Delmar and
Lova (Gertridge) Coldwell. He was a farmer, fishermen and hunter with
a wonderful sense of humour and pretty blue eyes. When he retired from
farming you could find him biking around the neighbourhood visiting

his bike away he spent time in his office (the garage) visiting
friends and family that stopped by to share stories, swat flies and
watch the world go by. He will be missed by his wife, Verna (Atwell)
married 61 years and his five children, Sherry Hickey (Phil), Louise
Ward (Steven), Sally Dunbar (Marshall), DeWayne (Bev Elliot), Lionel
(Wanda Moors) and six grandsons, Jeremy and Barclay Hickey, Aaron and
Brendan Ward, Liam and Drew Coldwell. He is also survived by his
brother, Howard (Mary). He was predeceased by a brother, Neil (Hilda)
and sisters, Marie (Lester Pick) and Frances (Jack Grainger).
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request.
The funeral service will held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 in
Gaspereau United Baptist Church, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating.
A reception to follow at Gaspereau Community Hall. In lieu of flowers,
