Vivian Wright
Wright (MacDonald), Vivian, age 86, of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2018 in the Dartmouth General Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Born in Priestville, Pictou County, she was a daughter of the late Harriet and Henry MacDonald.
Vivian “Mom” was a gentle, kind woman whose biggest joy was her family and friends. Her quick wit and beautiful smile will be remembered forever…
Vivian is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frederick; her only daughter Eleanor , Bedford; brothers, Kenneth (Shirley) MacDonald, New Glasgow, and Ronald (Lois) MacDonald, Ontario; sister-in law Ann (Fred) MacLeod, West River Stn, Pictou Co.; brothers-in-law William Rector and Lawrence Richards and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by daughter Caryn (stillborn); sisters Nora Rector, Thelma (Arthur) Mancini, and Eva Richards, and infant sister Vera.
A celebration of life reception will be held on Tuesday July 17 from 1-3pm with a memorial service commencing at 2:15pm, Rev. Michael Mugford officiating. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
Family flowers only. Memorial donations to the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation, the SPCA or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
