Violet’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Young announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 at the age of 63 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Desmond Young, and Justin (Lisa) Young; her grandchildren: Donavan Young and Dawson Young; her sisters: Veronica Goldsmith and Lynda Horvath; her mother Pearl Crocker; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Violet was predeceased by her father Selby (Mate) Crocker. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. At Violet’s request, cremation to follow. There will be no funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Thrift Store, Pasadena.
