1939-2018
It is with much sadness that we the
family, announce the death of Veronica Susanne (Timmins) Aubie, who
passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018, at the Foyer Notre
Dame de Lourdes, at the age of 79.
Born in Grimsby, ON, she moved from
her hometown of London, ON to Belledune River, NB in 1969.
Veronica leaves behind her husband of
58 years, Edward, of Vincent Drive, Bathurst, NB and two daughters:
Denise Alexander of North Tetagouche and Sue Aubie of Nepisiguit
Falls.
Beloved grandchildren: Jason Poirier,
Jessica Landry, Amy Alexander, and Dakota Johnson.
Brothers: Tom (Lynn) Timmins of
Batchawana Bay, ON and John (Penny) Page of London, ON, and also a
very close and special cousin Mary Lynd Healy of West Seneca, NY.
Veronica adored her many nieces and
nephews, whom she spoke of often and remembered fondly.
Pre-deceased by her parents Basil and
Vera (Bailer) Timmins, her brothers Joseph, James and one sister Mary
Timmins Lindeman.
The family will receive relatives and
friends on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service
will be celebrated on Friday October 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. from
Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst.
The family would like to express their
gratitude to Dr. Barnhill (retired), Dre. Marie-Andrée
Arseneault, and the compassionate, attentive staff of The Foyer Notre
Dame de Lourdes. Donations in memory of Veronica may be made to the
Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes or a favorite
charity.
