Cherished Forever
Verna Treichel, beloved wife of the late Mr. Walter Treichel of Calgary, passed away at the Intercare Brentwood Care Centre on December 22, 2018 at the age of 89 years.
She was the loving mother of Darwin (Bonnie) Treichel, Deborah Treichel, and Sharon Perry all of Calgary. Verna will also be lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her sisters Margaret Holverson and Carol (Tim) Parsons; and her brother-in-law Harry Treichel. She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law: Arley (William) Phipps and Maxine (Wally) Fransen; and her brothers John Green and Russel Green.
A Celebration of Verna’s Life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home (Arbor Chapel, 1605 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
