Peacefully at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville, on Monday December 10th, 2018. Verla Horsefield ( nee Cowan ) age 90 years, beloved wife of the late Douglas Horsefield. Dear mother of Ronald Horsefield ( Chris ) of Greater Napanee and Ted Horsefield ( Tracey ) of Brockville. Predeceased by two sons, Bobby and David Horsefield. Loving grandmother of six grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Special sister of Olga Baker of Forfar. Predeceased by four brothers and one sister, Edmund, DeLos, Lyndon, Omer and Shirley Chant. Also predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Cyndi Horsefield.
A Celebration of Verla’s life will be held at Judson Funeral Home, Athens, on Friday December 14th, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Glen Elbe Cemetery at a later date.
