It is with deep sense of sorrow and loss that the family of Umbelina Rosa Esteves announces her passing after a battle with cancer, on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the age of 70 years. Umbelina will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Antonio, and her son Tony (Katherine). Umbelina will also be fondly remembered by her grandson, Leonidas.
She also leaves her siblings Amandio (Esmeralda), Jose (Arminda), Alberto (Helena), Maria (Jose), Eugenio, and Eliza (Manuel). She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Francisco. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Pura.
A Funeral Service in memory of Umbelina will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at Serenity Funeral Service, 10129 – Princess Elizabeth Ave, Edmonton, with Paul Croteau officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at St. Michael’s Cemetery, 13819 82 St, Edmonton.
