It is with sadness that the family of Todd. P. Walsh wishes to inform that he passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Todd, aged 52 years, was predeceased by his parents Augustus and Shirley Walsh (nee Aylward); brother Jerry Walsh ; and brother-in-law Geoff Walsh. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Cheryl Ash – Walsh; sons Ryan and Brandon Walsh and their mother Crystal Owens; sisters: Judy Walsh, Diane Davis (Peter) and Dallis Hamlyn (Jim); twin brother Toby Walsh (Kelly); nieces and nephews: Jason, Stephanie, James Walsh and Ashley Walsh; Matthew Hamlyn and Heather Davis; Uncle Billy Aylward; parent-in-law Donald and Olga Ash; special friends: Dave Boland, Don Byrne and Gary Power; as well as a large circle of family and friends. Todd and his family would want to thank everyone who supported him in his final weeks. A special thank you is given to the St. John’s Regional Fire Department and IAFF Local 1075 for their continued strength and support. Also, a heartfelt thank you from the family goes out to the St. Clare’s doctors and nurses. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 19th from 7 p.m – 9 p.m, and Thursday, December 20th from 10 a.m – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, December 21st at 2 p.m, with interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jimmy Pratt Memorial Outreach Centre.
