Myrtle Margaret Timmins (nee Marshall), Durham, passed away at Rockwood Terrace on Friday, February 9th, 2018 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Graham Timmins. Loving mother of Mary Collins of Kitchener, Florence Lyle and her husband Wayne of Georgia, Robert Timmins and his wife Anna-Marie of Glenelg Township and Catherine Turner and her husband Brent of Bentinck Township. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Pearl McCannell of Durham, Doreen MacCannell of Durham, and sister-in-law Rose Marshall of Varney. Myrtle will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends. Predeceased by son-in-law Jim Collins, brothers Bert and Bill Marshall, sister May Hunking and her late husband Charles, brothers-in-law Ray McCannell and Bev MacCannell. Myrtle always cherished the time spent with family and friends. She was a member of Zion United Church, and later Knox United Church, a longtime member of the Zion Women’s Institute and a honourary lifetime member of the Zion Friendship group.
Celebration of Life::
Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Tuesday, February 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Myrtle’s life will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 14th at 11 a.m.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Zion-Glenelg Community Cemetery or the Durham and Community Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
