Thomas (Tom) Patrick Moore of Simcoe, Ontario
January 22, 1943 – August 1, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tom Moore at his residence in his beloved Simcoe, Ontario in his 76th year. Tom is survived by his daughter Denise Moore and stepchildren Arthur, Lloyd and Jennifer Zufelt. Dear brother of Gary Curtis. Friend of Irene Reeder and John Powell. Beloved poppa Tom of Alexandra, Tim and Alaine. He was preceded in death by his foster parents Clifford and Margaret Lewis, wife Catherleen Elms and friend June Bannister. Born in Westmount, Quebec and raised in the Ottawa area, Tom came to Norfolk County in the 1960s in search of employment. He quickly fell in love with the area and the simple life it inspired, calling it home. Tom was a self taught Jack of All Trades, a friend to all and always there to lend a hand. Tom will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. Friends are invited to call at THE FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St., S., Simcoe on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment Walsh Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations to Ontario Lung Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.ferrisfuneral.com.
