Obituary of Theresa Duimel
DUIMEL- Theresa Violet (née Laprade) formerly of Port Colborne passed away at the Oakwood Park Lodge in Niagara Falls with her family at her side on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Leo Duimel (2012), loving mother of Beatrice (Chris) Cole, Stuart Duimel and Terri (Brian) Koiter, dear grandmother of Scott (Jackie) Cole, Matthew (Jessie Richard) Cole, Crystal (Paul) Duimel, Theresa Duimel, Rebecca (Rob) Eberly, Rosanna Duimel, J.C. Hartsell, Holly Hartsell, the late Tony Hartsell, Rebekka Koiter and Tyler Koiter. Also survived by 15 great grandchildren. Sister of Gerald Laprade and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Theresa was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #142 in Dunnville. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends and finally back in the arms of the love of her life. By Theresa’s request there will be no visitation and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
