Life Legacy
Mrs. Theresa Clare (McGrail) Mathany, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Wallaceburg, surrounded by her family, at the age of 91. Theresa was born in Dover Centre and was the daughter of the late Pat and Effie Mae (Stephens) McGrail. Beloved wife of the late Doug Mathany (2006). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Terry Lynn (Bill) Dechman, Jean (Paul) Kilby, Patti (Terry) Chorpitta, Tim (Shelley) Mathany, Ed (Marilyn) Mathany, Judy Mathany, Ric (Rosalie) Mathany, Susan (Carol) Mathany, Barb (Steve) Carson, Jeff Mathany, Kelly (Jeff) Rovers, Doug (Kim) Mathany, Cathy Mathany and Al Bajc. Predeceased by her daughter Ellen Bajc and her son Mike Mathany. Sadly missed by 26 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Kind sister-in-law of Joanne McGrail and Mary Mathany. Predeceased by her sisters Mary, Laurene, Helen and Kay and her brothers Jim, Fred, Jack and Pat. Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 9, 2018 from Holy Family Church, in Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
