Stuart; Erna Elfreda 2018

STUART – Erna E., 89, of East Port l’Hebert, passed away peacefully in North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 with her loving family by her side.
Born in Lake May, Annapolis County, Erna was a daughter of the late Leland and Laura (Carver) White.
Erna worked actively with the monthly production of “Rural Delivery” newspaper with Dirk van Loon. She also worked for Polar Bear Fisheries, East Port l’Hebert. Erna loved music, camping, and was an avid bingo player. She was very family orientated and enjoyed spending time with them as well as her friends. She loved animals especially cats and dogs.
She is survived by her daughters Sandra (Daryl) Pelley of Boutilier’s Point; Anne (Dewey) Adams of Western Shore; Barbara (Chuck) Dickens of Middle Sackville. Her sons Craig (Maria) of East Port l’Hebert; Paul of Shelburne and John (Jen) of Allendale. 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Erna was predeceased by her husband Frank, her daughter Gail Wolfe, her son Frank Jr., her grandson Owen Seldon, her sisters Lillian Holdright, Mildred Fader, Phyllis Wills and her brothers Howard, Ralph, Wilson, Donald and Lorimer.
Funeral service will be held Friday, June 1st, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reception to follow. A private family burial will take place at a later time.
