Obituary of Stewart Bowen
(Retired – City of Ottawa)
Peacefully at the Arnprior Hospital on Tuesday evening, August 7th, 2018. Stewart Irwin Bowen of Arnprior passed away at the age of 89. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Annette (nee Dorion) Bowen (November 14, 2014). Dearly loved father of Gary (Toni) of Edmonton; Michael of Barry’s Bay and Mark of Arnprior. Cherished and proud “Papa” of Joshua, Brian, Lauren, Jaime, Megan and Pam. Dear brother of Barbara Bowen and Helen Daniliak (Nick). Predeceased by his parents, Bruce and Etta (nee Gload) Bowen as well as 4 brothers: Bob, George, Merton and Orville. Stewart spent over 43 years working in the Meter Department of the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Monday, August 20th from 11 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service in the Pilon Family Chapel at 12 noon. A reception will follow. In memory of Stewart, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society.
