Steven Lester Jellie April 14 1956 October 25 2018

Steve lost his very courageous battle with cancer, and passed away peacefully at home on October 25, 2018, holding his wife’s hand. Steve was born on April 14, 1956 in North Vancouver. Survived by his loving wife Janet Baier, mom Joan Ross, dad Donald (Joni) Jellie, brother Ken (Anna), nephew Ryan Jellie, Dick and Irene Ross.
Steve didn’t have any children but he became the best stepdad ever to Ryan and Amanda Baier, and he loved them as if they were his own. He also inherited a couple more young people he loved as his kids Brittany and Hannah. Steve had many other family members, close cousins, loving friends and co-workers. He was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed.
Special thanks to Dr. K. Kuss, Dr. JP. McGhie, Dr. Joe, Dr. Fenton and Dr. Samphire, as well as the Home Care Nursing and Hospice.
A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria BC, on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency or Hospice in Steve’s name.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.
