The death occurred with all family by his side at the Souris Hospital on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 of Sterling MacDonald, age 72 years. Beloved husband of Cindy (nee Gallant), and dear father of Robert (Kim), and Angela (Josh). Those to mourn his loss are grandchildren Colby, Madison, Meara; son David, and grandchildren Ryan and Kate.
Survived by siblings Gen (Gerald), Elmer (Irene), Paula (Barry), Barbara (Albert; deceased), Preston (Margie), Sheila (Darky), Darlene (Louis), Richard (Ernestine), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents Charlie and Rita, and nephew Jordan.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 5-9pm, and Monday, January 8, 2018 from 9:30am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00am. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. If desired, memorial donation may be made to St. Mary’s Cemetery Fund, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
