Stanley Clare Smoke passed away at Alexander Place Long Term Care, Waterdown on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Kathryn ‘Kay’ Smoke (nee Ford). Loving father of Kevin and his wife Kelly, and Rob and his wife Tracy. Proud grandfather of Alison, Rachel, Victoria and Madison. Google Maps of Marion and Harry Riebot, and Helen Ford. Stan spent his life outdoors working the land at Cedar Springs Road and Number 1 Sideroad, farming at first then after selling to Hidden Lake Golf and Country Club to create the ‘New Course’ cutting grass at the course for many years.
Private cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Private Urn Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Milton.
The family would like to thank the staff of Alexander Place for their compassion and care shown to Stan. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
