Obituary Overview
KERFOOT, Stanley Albert
Sept 10, 1927 – Nov 16, 2018
Stan passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital aged 91.
He is remembered as a gentle soul, a giving person who worked as a crane operating engineer for over 65 years, shaping and reshaping the city of Ottawa. More enduring than any stone or steel is the foundation of love and strength he provided for his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed. Predeceased by his wife Norma (née McRae). Beloved father of Doug (Michele), Brenda (Steve Chapman) and Lori (Ross Brown). Cherished grandfather of Patricia, Paul, Alexander, Andrew and Zachary; Krista; Sarah and Lainey. Dear brother of Ruth (Jack Cameron). Predeceased by his brothers Jack (Violet d.), Clarence (Leita), Bob (Jean), Arnie (June d.) and Bill (Della), sisters Reta (Joe Warwick d.) and Joyce (Len Miles d.) and daughter-in-law Pauline (Bruneau). Son of Roy and Minnie (Gray) Kerfoot of Smiths Falls.
Sincere thanks to the staff at the Ravines Retirement Home and QCH for their kindness and exceptional care.
