Stanislaw “Stanley” DAJCZAK
Passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on July 15, 2018 at the age of 87 in Windsor. Beloved husband of over 56 years to Helen (nee Gajewski). Cherished father of Suzanne Dajczak and husband Martin Gorski, Dr. Stanislaw Peter and wife Shelley Dajczak. Loving Dziadziu of Jenna Dajczak, and Aaron Gorski. Dear son of the late Michal (1981) and Katarzyna (1969) Dajczak. Dear brother of the late Maria Strzelczyk (2003). He is survived by family in Poland, Canada and Argentina. Stanislaw was a devoted parishioner of Holy Trinity Polish Church in Windsor, St. John the Baptist Church in Amherstburg and most recently, Our Lady of Victory Church in Chatham. He was a member of the St. Cecile choir at Holy Trinity Church. Stanley worked as a construction supervisor for several companies. He then joined Hiram Walkers as a carpenter where he retired in 1992 after 25 years of dedicated service. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved to work with his hands repairing items, building and restoring homes. Stanislaw was born in Manajow, Tarnopol, Poland. Throughout his life’s journey, his faith in God carried him through the very difficult struggles from Poland, Russia, Pakistan, East Africa, England to his arrival in Canada where he made his home. In lieu of flowers, donations to London Health Science Centre–Cancer Unit or Foundation of Chatham Kent Health Alliance – Cardiac Care Unit would be appreciated. Visiting Tuesday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers Tuesday 7:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday from Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. at 9:15 a.m. to Holy Trinity Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
