The death of
Shirley McGovern of Saint John, beloved wife of the late Thomas
McGovern, occurred on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Saint John
Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter
of the late Douglas and Ethel (Mahaney)
DeBow.
Resting at
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday,
February 1, 2018 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church, 201 Bayside Drive,
Saint John on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 12:00 Noon.
Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s
Cemetery.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Cathedral
Restoration Village Revitalization Projects or Bobby’s
Hospice.
