Sheila Joan Trott 1927 2018

Trott, Sheila Joan (nee Meddings)
Born June 26, 1927
Passed away on December 3, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila at The Helen Henderson Care Centre. Beloved wife of George for 69 years. Loving mother of James (Susan) Kingston, Clifford (Anne) Napanee, Janice (Phillip) Kingston, Pamela (Bruce) Whitby, Andrew (Kelly), Wellington, and Cameron (Kingston). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Bradley, April, Kevin, Wesley, Vanessa, Adrienne, Stephanie, Stuart, Brendon, Candace and Jacqueline. Predeceased by sisters Moira and Caryl. Daughter of the late Dorothy and Alvin Meddings. Sheila passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Sheila was born in England and emigrated to Canada at the age of 19. She was fortunate to have many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren living close by. Sheila was known for her sense of humour, her talent as an artist, and her love of gardening and flowers. In earlier days Sheila enjoyed her games of tennis at Kingston Tennis World and she remained an avid fan of tennis for the rest of her life. Our family wants to express our deepest gratitude to the Helen Henderson Care Centre and amazing staff for their kind and loving care. Friends and family are invited to James Reid Reception Centre, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 12:30 pm for the Visitation. A Memorial Service celebrating Sheila’s life will take place at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow the interment at Cataraqui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a donation in Sheila’s memory to the charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Sheila
