Entered into rest in Kingston on Thursday September 13, 2018 in her 90th year. Daughter of the late Hilyard and Elizabeth Lutz. Beloved wife for 39 years of the late Gordon Carson. Dear mother of Wayne (Tina) and Donna K. Paige (Wayne). Loving grandmother of Jamie (Meghan), Amy (Adam), Megan (Adam), Brent (Shannon), Tyler (Justine), Jenna (Kris) and 11 great grandchildren with another expected in February. Also remembered by sisters Edith Lutz, Thora Miklos (John), Beverley Hatcher (Bill), and brothers Earl Lutz (Angie), John Lutz (Cora) and Sisters in law Jackie Howard of Virginia USA, Nadine Lutz, Joyce Lutz and brother in law Dave Adams of St. Catharines, and her many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by brothers Gerald, Carl and Robert Lutz and sister Jean Wright. A special thanks to the staff of KIDD 7 stroke unit and Providence Care.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the TOWNSHIP CHAPEL OF THE GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES, 435 Davis Drive on Thursday September 20th from 2 to 5 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday September 21, 2018 at 1 pm followed by a reception in the Funeral home Trillium room. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy donations to St. Luke’s Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
