RUDY MARQUARDT
Rudy Marquardt, 85, of St. Marys and formerly of Mitchell passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
Beloved husband of Isabelle Marquardt. Dear brother of Irene Gary and brother-in-law of Lillian Johns, Bill Jackson and Jack Wiles. Loved and remembered by Tammie (Tony) Santomero and special Juju of Adam Thompson (Ashley), Ben Thompson (Sami), Maggie Thompson and special great Juju of Hunter, Rayna and Kip. Loving friend of Vera Haves and also missed by her family. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Henry and Annie Marquardt, sister Gertie Baragar, Mabel Diehl, Alma McDonald brothers Emmerson and Gordon Marquardt, brothers-in-law Elijah McDonald, Cuthbert Baragar, Lloyd Diehl, Kevin Gary and sister-in-law Evelyn Wiles.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Monday September 17, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm and again on Tuesday September 18, 2018 from 1:00 pm till 1:45 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Gery Luck officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donations to Grace Lutheran Church, Mitchell may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
