Ronald Omer Manseau
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Manseau on Sunday September 16, 2018 at the age of 77. Ron lived in Virginiatown, Ontario and worked at Kerr Addison Mines, was an active member of the V-Town Lions Club and retired as Chief of the Volunteer Fire Brigade of McGarry Township. He moved to Timmins in 2008 to be closer to his family where he continued his membership as a Lions Club Member. He is predeceased by his loving wife Suzanne Manseau and will be greatly missed by his children Robert and Marie-Claude, his daughter in law Sylvie Sylvestre and his grandchildren Phillip, Theodore and Liliana. He will also be missed by his extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday September 22, 2018 at Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home, 21 Elm St. South, Timmins, ON (705-268-4488) from 2:00 – 3:30 pm. A memorial service will be held in the funeral chapel at 3:30 pm. A celebration of life reception to follow at St-Mary’s Residence at 225 Fifth Ave, Timmins from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations can be made to the Stan Fowler Fund c/o Schumacher Lion’s Club P.O. Box 231, Schumacher, Ontario, P0N 1G0.
