Obituary for Ronald “Bogie” Dietz
DIETZ, Ronald “Kirk” (aka “Bogart, Bogie ,Captain Kirk”)
On March 22 the world lost one of the happiest and funniest people we know. Kirk was a loving son, nephew, cousin and friend, who will always be remembered for his zest for life, huge smile and contagious “Bogie” laugh. Kirk in his 63rd year, entered peacefully into rest at St. Peters Hospital, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Doris Dietz. Dear nephew to Jan Dietz (Bill, deceased) and Vera Tisdale (Ev, deceased). Kirk will also be missed by his many cousins, and friends that showered him with love in his final days. Kirk left us knowing he was truly loved. Kirk was a lifetime resident of Caledonia. He loved to travel, golf, fish, watch sports, “cottage time” and ” Happy Hours” . He was also an avid Seahawks fan.”Go Hawks Go!”, but most of all Kirk loved spending time with his family and friends whom meant the world to him. Although we wish we had more time with Kirk, we were all very lucky to have had him in our lives and will cherish all of the amazing memories we have with him. We would like to thank the staff at St. Peters Hospital, Ward 3 West for their excellent and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia.
“Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you until we meet again.”
