Cameron, Ronald Kenneth – 74, Valley, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at home. Born in Moncton, NB he was the son of the late Harry W. and Grace (Murray) Cameron. Ron was a hard worker all his life having worked for CN in Moncton and later drove for various moving companies. Ron also was in property maintenance for CO-OP Atlantic while living in the Moncton area. After he and Leota moved to the Truro area Ron delivered cars for various car dealerships within the Truro area. Ron was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leaf fan and also appreciated old cars, watching wrestling and a love of western movies. He loved being around his family living with Marion and Paul for many years. He was especially proud of his grandchildren. Ron is survived by son, Ron (Joanne), Riverview, NB; daughters, Patty (Roger) Robinson, Dieppe, NB; Marion (Paul) Leblanc, Valley, NS; Marney Cameron, Moncton; Son by heart, Alan Peters, Big Cove NB. grandchildren, Tyler Cameron; Katie (Mike) McGarrity; Robbie McCallum; Corey (Sam Good) Leblanc; Ashley Leblanc; brother in law, Wendell (Jean) Perry; special friend, Jean Marr;. He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years A. Leota Cameron in 2011. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, December 12 from 11 am to 1 pm followed immediately by a service to celebrate Ron’s life at 1 pm all in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (447-2930).
