It is with heavy hearts that Ron’s family announce his passing on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the age of 76 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his devoted wife of 52 years, Karen; children, Todd (Monique), Lisa (Jerrad), Jaret (Milijana); his adored granddaughters, Danielle, Annick, Julie, Aimee and Halle. He will be remembered by his brother, Aaron (Kathy) and sister, Lois, cousins, nieces, nephews, and the many friends made throughout the years. Ron is predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Armandine Berg.
Ron enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast with friends. He cherished our Family occasions at home and spending time with his friends at the lake. He always made time to chat everywhere he went.
At Ron’s request no service will be held. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Hamilton, Dr. Stecyk, Dr. Pfeiffer, and all the staff at the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital for their care and compassion.
