C’est avec grande tristesse que notre famille annonce le décès de Rolland Leblanc à l’âge de 78 ans à l’hôpital de Welland, mardi le 29 mai, 2018. Il était époux de Joan (née Morningstar). Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Joanne (Sylvie), Linda (Lonnie), Robert (Hanna) et ses enfants par alliance, David (Yvonne), Daniel (Jennifer), Danna (Carlo), Debby (Craig) Ainsi que son frères Lucien (Anita), sa soeur Pauline (feu Fred) et sa belle-soeur Shirley. Rolland a tenu ses petits enfants; Lyle, Sandra, Bradey, Scott, Jake, Evan, Cole, Melanie et Victor très proche de son coeur. Prédécédé par ses parents Henry et Lucia (née Saumure), sa première épouse Rollande (1997).
Rolly veillait toujours à insuffler l’humour et le rire dans tout ce qu’il faisait. Sa mission était de faire sourire autant de personnes que possible. Rolly aimait pêcher, camper et construire n’importe quoi. Sa véritable passion était son amour et son dévouement envers sa famille.
Selon ses volontés, crémation a eu lieu. La famille reçevra parents et amis au Salon Funéraire Welland 827 rue Main Est, Welland, vendredi le 1 juin, 2018 de 14h à 16 h et aussi de 18h à 20h. Les funérailles auront lieu le samdi, le 2 juin, 2018 at 14h en chapelle.. Pour ceux qui désirent faire un don par chèque au Terry Fox Foundation Ontario les cartes seront disponibles au Salon Funéraire.

Passed away peacefully with his wife at his side, at the Welland Hospital on May 29th, 2018, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Joan (née Morningstar). Loving father of Joanne (Sylvie), Linda (Lonnie), Robert (Hanna). Loving step-father of David (Yvonne), Daniel (Jennifer), Danna (Carlo) and Debby (Craig). He will be missed by his brother Lucien (Anita) and sister Pauline (the late Fred) and sister in law Shirley. Cherished papa of 9 grandchildren; Lyle, Sandra, Bradey, Scott, Jake, Evan, Cole, Melanie and Victor. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Lucia (née Saumure), by his first wife Rollande (1997) and brother John.
Rolly was always making sure to infuse humour and laughter into everything he did. His mission was to make as many people as possible smile. Rolly enjoyed fishing, camping and building anything. His real passion was his love and dedication to his family.
Keeping with Rolland’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Friday, June 1st, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Terry Fox Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
