PAQUIN, Roger
The family announces with sorrow, his passing away at Extendicare Falconbridge, Monday, September 17th, 2018 at the age of 94 years. Son of the late Henri and Laurette (née Grenier) Paquin. Predeceased by his wife Thérèse L. Paquin (née Nadon). Loving father of Angela, Lorraine (Jean-Marie), Jerry (Terry), Fern (Tessie) and Gisèle Tunn (Mark), and Normand (Nancy) all of Sudbury and Monique Paquin of Ottawa. Predeceased by his son Marcel and his brothers Marcel and Roland. Dear brother of Thérèse and Anita. Proud grandfather of Marc, Lianne, Shawn, Daniel, Joanna, Robert, Ashley, Krysta and great-grandfather of Bradley, Eric, Madison, Evangeline and Gabrielle. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. “God may have Dad/Pepère in keeping, but we will always have him in our memory, but most importantly in our hearts.” The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, September 21st, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. André Roch and the staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for the excellent care and compassion during Dad/Pepère’s stay. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Alzheimer Society.
