Obituary of Robina Smith
SMITH, Robina Ann (nee Reilly)
It is with profound sadness that the family of Robina Ann Smith announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the age of 82. She was the beloved and cherished wife of Larry for 61 years. Loving mother of Jim (Cathy), Sharon (Michael) Koch, David (Lisa) and Greg (Jane). Caring and well-loved Grandmother to Russell (Ginger), Rebecca (Sebastian), Kevin (Vanessa), Stephanie (Eric), Andrew, Derek, Jeffrey, Abigail and Reilly. Mom cherished the time she had with her Great Grandchildren Sky, Charlie and Jax. Robina was the loving sister to Jim (deceased), Kay (Ron) Winterbottom, Marina (John – deceased) Schenck, Margaret Rose (deceased) (Bill) Weerheim, Bob (Peggy) Reilly and sister-in-law to Peter (Gail) Smith and Ken (Glenna) Smith. She will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and all her wonderful friends who are too numerous to mention.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rusnak and Debbie for their care and compassion as well as all the staff at the North End Shoppers Drugmart Pharmacy.
The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Star of the Sea Church, 34 Elgin St., St. Catharines, on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow Mass and a private family Inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara or to Star of the Sea Church.
