Robin Roy Thorne, 55 of Havelock passed away
Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Sus, he was the son of Stuart Thorne
and Mary (McCormac) Thorne. Rob was a truck mechanic with Burgess
Contracting . He enjoyed hunting, camping, fourwheeling and
spending time at the camp. He especially loved spending time with his
family. Rob was very proud of his children and
grandchildren, supporting them and attending their many sporting
events, and they could always make him laugh!
Rob is survived and sadly missed by his mother
Mary and father Stuart (Jean); his beloved wife Amy (Lounsbury); his
children Devin Thorne (Alicen) of Steeves Settlement, Chelsea Hatt
(Scott) of Havelock and Cody Thorne (Jessica) of Penobsquis;
daughter-in-law Heidi Thorne of Petitcodiac; siblings Kathy Reeder
(Jim) of Riverview, Donald Thorne (Susan) of Havelock Lisa Lewis
(Brad) of Petitcodiac; cherished grandchildren Alexis, Lauren and
Blake Thorne, Gavin, Aislynn and Bryson Hatt, Rowan and Landon Thorne
and Easton and Scarlett Thorne; mother-in-law Mary Trites;
grandmother-in-law Beatrice Brown and several nieces and
nephews. He was predeceased by his son Chad Thorne and his
father-in-law Norval (Jack) Lounsbury.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800) with visiting Wednesday, January 2 from 5 to 8 pm and from
where the funeral will be held Thursday, January 3 at 11 am.
Interment at Wesleyan Cemetery, Havelock.
If desired, donations to the Friends of the
Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
