Obituary of Robert McCann
McCANN: Robert Archibald ‘Bob’ –
A resident of Tilbury, Bob McCann passed away at Tilbury Manor on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the age of 72.
Born in Chatham, Bob was the son of the late Stewart and Misa (Purcell) McCann.
Beloved husband of 44 years to Ann (nee Hogan).
Loving father of Frank McCann (Jenn) of Amherstburg. Proud Grandpa of Liam Robert Leonard McCann.
Brother-in-law to Catharine Hogan of Ridgetown.
Special friend to Janice Buckingham.
Also missed by friends and extended family.
Bob enjoyed travelling across the U.S. and Canada and loved spending time with his grandson. He worked as an accountant for Dean Construction in LaSalle, Prestressed Systems in Windsor and Arbor Press in Royal Oak, MI for many years. After his retirement, Bob ran his own accounting firm.
Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Monday, July 16, 2018 with Rev. Al McIntyre officiating. Interment to follow at Botany Cemetery.
