ROBERT THOMAS HEATLEY
MARCH 28, 1934 – DECEMBER 12, 2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Heatley on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Concordia Hospital.
Left to survive Bob are his beloved companion Frances Kasyjan; sisters Jean Sweetland (Ron) and Maggie Bean; and cousin Evelyn West (Randy). He was predeceased by his parents, Rachel and James; and son Robert Jr.
Bob was born at home on the family farm at St. Francois-Xavier, Manitoba on March 28, 1934, growing up there and at Chatfield, Manitoba. He had numerous jobs throughout his life, being employed at various times by Jansen Produce, Codville Produce and Unicity Taxi.
Bob will be remembered as a kind, caring and hard working man who was always willing to extend a helping hand.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for the kindness, compassion and friendship shown to Bob during his four years at Bethania. We would also like to thank Dr. Tunovic and the staff at Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. He will be interred next to his son at Glen Eden Cemetery. A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2019.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home.
Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Inc. in charge of arrangements.
Rest in Peace, Bob.
You are loved and will be missed.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Robert Thomas Heatley March 28 1934 December 12 2018..
