Obituary of ROBERT ANTHONY SMITH
ROBERT ANTHONY SMITH
June 13, 1944 – December 6, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Robert (Bob) Smith announce his passing on December 6, 2018.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Patricia, his parents; Victor and Helen, brother Kenneth and brother-in-law Bill Oliver.
He leaves to mourn his passing, sister Judee, sister- in-law Leslie; nieces and nephews; Mark (Tammy), Addison, Mason; Alexi, Britney (Justin); Nicole (Max) and Max junior. Cousins: Darlene, Brian and family, Joanne and family,
Jim, Janice and family, who were a constant support and always there for him in times of need.
Bob played hockey in his younger days and was an ardent “Jets” fan till the end. He was also a ‘Blue Bomber’ fan and looked forward to his annual bet on the Grey Cup with cousin Kevin Smith. Bob and Pat enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling together over their 49 years of marriage. They enjoyed entertaining at home and at their cottage at Wanasing Beach.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Parish, 264 Donwood Drive, 10:00 am on Saturday, December 15th. Interment at Glen Eden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation in Bob’s memory.
Rest in Peace Bob. Until we meet again.
