Rita Bozicovich (Belanger)
The family announces with sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice on Monday, December 10, 2018, at the age of 85.
Predeceased by her beloved husband George Bozicovich (2003) and her son-in-law Robert Desloges (1997).
She was the loving mother of Debbie Desloges (Paul) of Timmins and Ronald Bozicovich Jr. of Matheson.
She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Holly Baril (John) of Sudbury, Adam Desloges (Kim) of Pickering, Falon Desloges (Darren) of Timmins, Julia Bozicovich-Rowe of Guelph, Brenden Bozicovich-Rowe of Timmins and grandson-in-law Richard Baril of Sudbury.
Cherished great-grandmother of Paige and Roch, Lukas and Jakoby, Daxxen and Drystyn.
Dear sister-in-law of Velma Ferrari (late Edward) of Timmins.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Li, the nursing staff of C and D wings at Timmins and District Hospital and especially the Palliative Care Team for taking great care of our Mom.
Rita was a very vocal and honest person. She was an avid card player, loved going to bingo and was affectionately known to the Timmins Transit Drivers as the muffin lady.
Rita also loved spending time at the family cottage at Gibson Lake.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 13 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the
