Obituary for Rita Fritz (Kocher)
Fritz, Rita Irene (Kocher):
Passed away suddenly but peacefully at Trinity Village Care Centre on Friday, January 5th, 2018.
Rita was born 87 years ago in Hesson, Ontario and was the daughter of Christina and Anthony Kocher.
Beloved wife of Vincent Fritz who predeceased her on February 7th, 2000.
Loving mother of Bonnie Fritz (Grant Snyder), Wendy Vaughan (Shawn McConnell), Ken (Lilian) Fritz, Donna Derbecker, and Arlene (Rod) Cressman; sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren Jason, Mathew, Kyle, Krista, Brent, James, Michael, Eric, and Nicole and her 10 great grandchildren.
Remembered by her sister Glayds Schnarr, her sister-in-law Norma Fritz, and brother-in-law Neil Beggs. Rita was predeceased by her sisters Emma (Tony) Ditner, Florence (Louis) Docksteeder, Cecilia (Harold) Dietrich, Luella (Joe) Reitzel and her brothers William (Cecile) Kocher and Oscar (June) Kocher and -in-laws Wilfred (Jeannie) Fritz, Clare Fritz, Hubert Fritz and Andrew Fritz, Ellen Beggs, Rita Fritz and Loreen (Alfred) Dietrich.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s RC Church, 55 Driftwood Dr., Kitchener, on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at 11 a.m. Fr. Stephen Murrin officiating. At Rita’s request, there is to be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements entrusts to Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener.
