Rita Gignac
Gignac, Rita (nee Gregoire) passed away suddenly at the Georgian Bay General Hospital on Monday May 14th in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Clement Gignac. Loving mother of Richard (Angela), Anita Playne (Jack), Marie Gilchrist (Jim), Louis, Anne Gignac (Aime), Luke (Anita), Robert (Monique). Joseph (Mary) and predeceased by Patrick, Michael and Bernard. Memere of 20 and grand memere of 28. Predeceased by her siblings Theresa Lepage, Stella St. Louis, Marie Robitaille, Urbain Gregoire and Luke Gregoire. Rita will be sadly missed by extended family and friends, Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Thursday May 17th 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church on Friday May 18th at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
