In Loving Memory Of
Rick Robson
Rick passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the age of 71 years.
Rick was born in Red Deer, AB, the youngest son of Margaret and John Robson.
Rick met his wife, Betty Ann, in 1969 and they married 2 years later in Shelby, MT. Together they raised three children, two daughters and one son.
Rick worked in the oil patch for over 43 years, first in construction and then as a gas plant operator.
Rick had a passion and love of the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish. He spent many hours sharing this love with his children, grandchildren and youth exchange students from around the world. Rick spent many hours taking Junior Forest Warden kids on camping trips. He also loved to spend hours on the golf course. Rick was a member of the Grande Prairie Lions Club and traveled the world with the Lions. He enjoyed visiting their youth exchange students and their families.
Rick leaves a trove of treasured memories for his wife Betty Ann; children: Bonnie (Mike), Brian, and Shannon (Chad); grandchildren: Cassandra (James), Matt, Shae-Lynn, Ebbie, Lorea and Hayden; great-grandchildren: Octavia and Lakai; sister Elizabeth; and special niece Terri.
Rick was predeceased by his parents, and brother Clifford.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:00pm, at the Lions Learning Center, in Grande Prairie (9625 Prairie Rd).
