It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018 at the age of 66 years, surrounded by family.
Richard was born May 19, 1952, in Port Arthur, ON. He worked as a conductor for the Canadian National Railway and loved spending time with his family, the outdoors, fishing and sitting by the bonfire.
Richard will forever be remembered by his wife and best friend Darlene Tremblay, and precious children, Aliesha Tremblay and Bryan Tremblay. Predeceased by his father Richard John Lewis Tremblay and mother Laila Muir. Survived by his step-father William Muir (Judy). Dear brother of Doug Muir (Sandy), Brenda Elviss (Dave) and predeceased by Diane Miller. Predeceased by his father in law Harry Michasiw (Anne). Brother in law of Larry Michasiw (Lorraine) and Wally Michasiw (Cheryle). Richard will also be remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Richard was such a strong, patient and caring man with a quick wit that always kept you on your toes.
In keeping with Richard’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. A private gathering for friends and family will be held at a later date.
