Obituary of Richard Jolly
JOLLY, Richard Alan – Age 65, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late Daniel Theadore “Ted” and Shirley Rae (Cann) Jolly.
He was an employee of Michelin, Bridgewater as an industrial mechanic from 1972 to 2009. Rick loved travelling and said his only regret was that he didn’t take more vacations. He was passionate about owning and restoring old vehicles. Rick enjoyed bowling, golfing and curling throughout the years. He was always there for friends and family to offer a helping hand. Rick will be loved and missed by many. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Lorraine (Pye) Jolly; daughter, Patricia Rae Jolly (Joel Lizee); son, Jason Alan (Jody) Jolly; brother, Daniel (Eleanor) Jolly; grandchildren, Clara and Maggie. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Barb Boiduk; brother, Michael Jolly.
There will be no visitation by request. Service of Remembrance will be held 2 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater with a reception immediately following. Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Immediate family flowers only.
