Rev. Paul Wellington Collins
Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour October 21, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Laura Collins (Thomson) for 51 years. Loving father of Pamela (Philip), Cheryl (Mark) and David. Adoring Grandpa of Joshua, Johanna, Caleb, Daniel, Spencer, Zoe, Paul, Paige, Brayden and Sarah. Paul will also be sadly missed by his many friends and extended family. Paul will be remembered in Georgetown as the founding Pastor at Georgetown Alliance Church (now Living Hope Alliance Church). Paul and Laura served as missionaries in Vietnam with the Christian & Missionary Alliance during the war from 1969 – 1973. Upon their return home, he served with World Vision Canada for more than 12 years, until he moved on to Muskoka Bible Centre. He ended his career at Every Home For Christ, where he ministered for more than 25 years. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery – 10061 Chinguacousy Rd. (at Bovaird) 905-460-9155. Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1 p.m. Interment Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Every Home For Christ would be appreciated.
