SOWINSKI – Regan “Reg” Alan of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital with family at his side on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the age of 56. Beloved son of Peter and Peggy Sowinski. Reg is survived by brothers Richard Sowinski (Cathy Thompson), Robert Sowinski (Murial) and Ronald Sowinski (Marie Fi). Loving uncle of Michelle Howes (Drew), their son Max; Mathew Sowinski (Meghan), Daniel Sowinski (Sally), their son Aiden; Kyle Sowinski, Sarah Sowinski and Paul Sowinski. Reg will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has already taken place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Memorial visitation will be held at St. Anne’s Parish, 20 Morrison Drive, St. Thomas on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a memorial mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Private interment of ashes to follow in the spring in New Liskeard. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated. Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
