Raymond Colin White, 77 of Dartmouth passed away November 21, 2018 at home. Born in Murray Harbour, PEI, he was the son of the late Lester and Carrie (Dort) White. He is survived by his children Colin (Renee), Fall River; Tracy, Clearwater, Fl.; grandchildren, Liam and Emma; sisters, Isabel Kuhn and Elizabeth Bellefontaine of Dartmouth; nieces and nephews.
Ray had an amazing work ethic. After retiring from APM Construction, he was a dedicated employee of Kent Building Supplies establishing many friendships along the way. He had a great love for music and enjoyed playing many instruments. His favourite passion was for the outdoors. He loved his daily walks and through the years enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He loved sports and was a devoted fan of the Boston Bruins and Toronto Blue Jays.
He was predeceased by sister Florence McDow, brothers-in-law Ernest McDow, Alfred Kuhn and Ronald Bellefontaine.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Dartmouth with the Rev. Dr. P.A. (Sandy) McDonald officiating. Donations in Ray’s memory may be made to the Hope for Wildlife Society or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 216 School Street, Dartmouth, N.S. B3A 2Y4.
