Peacefully on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at home with his wife Sharon of 44 years by his side, as she was throughout his life, losing his 5-year battle to cancer. His memory will be cherished by his daughter Kimberly (Christie) as a great and loving dad. As the younger brother to Janet Mcnulty (Terry), Gloria Ayotte (Marce) and Robert (Shirley) his sense of humor and presence will be missed. As the brother in law to Elaine Metcalfe (Jack) and Patricia Maheral (Wayne) he will be remembered for his easy-going personality. He will be recalled by all his nieces and nephews as the fun uncle who could always crack a joke and make you laugh. To his friends he will be remembered as the person you could depend on to lend a hand whenever needed and someone who loved to have a good time. Ralph was the everyday average guy who had a charm and charisma that drew people to him. A Celebration of Ralph’s life will take place at Pinecrest & Cole Funeral Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment Pinecrest Cemetery. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow. In memory of Ralph dentations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
