Obituary of Philip White
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Tuesday morning, December 11th, 2018. Philip Baptiste White, of Owen Sound, at the age of 93 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret White (nee Olmstead) (August 21st, 2017). Loving father of Philip White and his wife, Pam, of Barrie, Mary White and Frank White and his wife, Thiet, both of Toronto. Proud grandfather of Michael, Emma and Colleen. Dear brother-in-law of Jackie White, of Toronto and Mary Thompson and her husband, Elgin, of London. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Irene White; his siblings, Robert White, John White (Audrey), Jane Merlin (Hank); his parents-in-law, Oliver and Mary Olmstead; his brothers-in-law, Frank Olmstead (Pat) and John Olmstead (June). The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at John Joseph Place and Chapman House Hospice for their exceptional care. They also want to thank the Knights of Columbus for their support and friendship throughout the year.

WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial for Philip White will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 554 – 15th Street East, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment in St. Mary`s Cemetery, Owen Sound.
